Making a Joyful Sound Together

St. Paul’s Handbell Choir has been part of our church for more than 20 years. What began as a way to bring music into worship has grown into a two-octave choir built around teamwork, relationships, and cooperation.

The unique sound of handbells adds another dimension to our congregational songs and hymns. Each ringer plays an individual part, but the music only comes together when everyone listens and works as one.

Our Handbell Choir regularly participates in worship at St. Paul’s and shares its music within the Durango community. Through rehearsals and ringing together, the choir is both a musical ministry and another way we gather, build relationships, and serve.
